DESCRIPTION:Class will start at 9:00 AM sharp.  8:30 – 9:00 is check in. The sooner you arrive the better seat you will have. \nNo children are allowed in class. \nPlease make sure you bring your gun unloaded and in your holster\, your holster must cover the trigger and trigger guard. Have a belt that will support your gun and holster. 3 mags would be ideal and a mag holder. Make sure you have hearing protection and safety glasses. 30 rounds of ammo is needed for the qualification\, 50 rounds is recommended. Dress accordingly\, we will be shooting no matter what the weather. \nShoulder holsters\, ankle holsters or cross draw holsters will NOT be allowed.  A brimmed hat must be worn at the range. \nDo not remove your gun from the holster until you are on the firing line and instructed to do so. \nIf you are shooting a new gun\, please go to YouTube and see how to clean it before the class.  Most of the problems we have at the range are new guns that have not been cleaned. \nIf you load your magazines the night before the class\, it will save time on the range. \nPlease bring your government issued photo ID (IE: driver’s license).  Bring a lunch and water\, you may eat lunch while the class is going. There is no designated lunch break. \nThe class is a minimum of 8 hours and includes shooting and a written test at the end. \nRenewals and HR218 need to be at the shooting area on Bell Vista at 11:30 AM. SUMMARY:2-Day Defensive Rifle Class
DESCRIPTION:This is an outstanding class for the intermediate to the advanced shooter. All students must be prepaid to attend.  All students must be 18 years of age or older\, unless you get pre-approval. If you have a responsible child that you would like to shoot with you\, give us a call\, prior to registration for approval. \nBased on what other firearms training companies are charging for a similar class\, the value of this class is about $1\,300. Your cost is only $290 for the 2 days. There are NO membership fees or background check fees. This class is approximately a 7-8-hour day\, day 2 is a little longer. You’ll shoot about 300-500 rounds for the 2 days. We operate with one range master plus 3–5-line instructors. \nAll students must bring your government issued photo ID\, IE: Driver’s License. \nUpon completion of this course\, you will have a fundamental understanding of your rifle platform and how to use it. Among the many skills you should acquire will be the ability to safely and easily present your weapon to the center of the target and fire a controlled pair 10 yards away in under 3 seconds!  \nDrills include but not limited to: Loading and Unloading; Grip\, Stance\, Sight Picture\, Sight Alignment\, Trigger Control and Trigger Reset; Presentation from the low ready\, high ready and field ready positions. Target Engagement from 7 – 100 yards under Time Pressure; Malfunction Clearing; Emergency and Tactical Reloading.  \nFirearm\, Equipment and Ammo Requirements: \nAll rifles must have a sling installed. (single or double point is acceptable) All rifles must have more than a 3.4lb trigger press; and we will check them at the beginning of class. Binary triggers are not allowed. \nIf you have a red dot optic or similar\, bore sight it before class. You will be sighting in your rifle at class. Do not just mount your optic and show up without bore sighting it. \nYou will need a magazine pouch worn on the belt on the side opposite your shooting hand and 2 each 30 round magazines or equivalent for your rifle.  \nElectronic hearing protection is mandatory. You need to be able to hear the Range Master and Instructors with your hearing protection on. \nA sturdy belt\, hat with brim\, wrap around impact resistant eye protection\, pants with pockets\, comfortable shoes or boots\, etc.  A dump pouch and shooting gloves are recommended. Knee pads and elbow pads are highly recommended. We will be shooting on rocky ground.  \nWe also recommend sunscreen and electrolyte drinks; we will have water.  We will have a short lunch break so bring a sack lunch.   \nEach shooter must have their own gear. \nFYI: Foul language will not be tolerated.

You’ll shoot about 400-600 rounds for the 2 days. We operate with one range master plus 3–5-line instructors. \nAll students must bring your government issued photo ID\, IE: Driver’s License. \nUpon completion of this course\, you will have a fundamental understanding of your shotgun platform and how to use it. You may bring a semi-auto\, a pump\, AR style\, AK style or even a Kel Tec side by side. Among the many skills you should acquire will be the ability to safely and easily present your weapon to the center of the target and fire a controlled pair 10 yards away in under 3 seconds!  \nDrills include but not limited to: Loading and Unloading; Grip\, Stance\, Sight Picture\, Sight Alignment and Trigger Control; Presentation from the low ready\, high ready and field ready positions. Target Engagement from 7 – 50 yards under Time Pressure; Malfunction Clearing; Emergency and Tactical Reloading.  \nFirearm\, Equipment and Ammo Requirements: \nAll guns must have a sling installed. (single or double point is acceptable) You will need 250 rounds of bird shot (get the cheap stuff)\, 150 rounds of buck shot and 70 slugs. Make sure your gun will handle slugs\, not all shotguns will. Adjustable chokes at the muzzle will not handle slugs. Some full chokes will not handle slugs. Steel shot is not allowed even bird shot. \nIf you have a red dot optic or similar\, bore sight it before class. You will be sighting in your shotgun at class. Do not just mount your optic and show up without bore sighting it. \nShell carriers need to be on the belt on the side opposite your shooting hand or side saddle carriers on the gun are a good idea.  \nElectronic hearing protection is mandatory. You need to be able to hear the Range Master and Instructors with your hearing protection on. \nA sturdy belt\, hat with brim\, wrap around impact resistant eye protection\, pants with pockets\, comfortable shoes or boots\, etc.  Shooting gloves are recommended. Dump pouches will just slow you down. Knee pads and elbow pads are highly recommended. We will be shooting on rocky ground\, if you can.  \nWe also recommend sunscreen and electrolyte drinks; we will have water.  We will have a short lunch break so bring a sack lunch.   \nEach shooter must have their own gear. \nFYI: Foul language will not be tolerated.

If you have a responsible child that you would like to shoot next to you\, give us a call\, prior to registration\, for approval. \nThis class is a $1\,000+ value\, however your cost is only $290 for the 2 days. There are NO membership fees or background check fees. This class is 2 full days and you’ll shoot about 300-400 rounds. We operate with one range master plus 4–5-line instructors. \nAll students must bring government issued photo ID\, IE: Driver’s License. \nUpon completion of this course\, you will have a fundamental understanding of the use of your handgun. You should have the ability to safely and easily present your weapon from the holster and fire the necessary number of shots to the center of a target 5 yards away in under 3 seconds! Most gun fights are at 9 feet and everybody misses. That is sad and we want you to learn to not miss. \nDrills include but not limited to: Loading and Unloading; Grip\, Stance\, Sight Picture\, Sight Alignment\, and Trigger Control; Presentation from the Ready position\, the Sul or Temple index and the Holster; Target Engagement from 3 to 10 yards under Time Pressure; Malfunction Clearing; Emergency and Tactical Reloading. \nFirearm\, Equipment and Ammo Requirements: \nHolsters must be on the belt\, OWB\, correctly fitted to the weapon\, completely covering the trigger guard and remain open when the weapon is removed\, not allowing the weapon to cover the shooter’s body. You must be able to draw your gun from your holster with one hand\, if you can’t\, you have the wrong holster and it’s not acceptable. Cross-draw\, shoulder holsters or ankle holsters are not allowed. It would be a good idea to bring a backup gun and a holster\, in case yours fails. \nA minimum of three magazines (recommend 4-6) and two single or one double magazine pouch worn on the belt on the side opposite the handgun are required. Use the magazines you will be carrying every day\, not the 30-50 round ghetto mags. Speed loader holders for revolvers can be worn on your belt in the front. This will be a tough class for a revolver and not recommended. If you are shooting a low-capacity semi-auto we recommend 6-8 magazines. \nElectronic hearing protection is mandatory. \nA sturdy belt\, hat with brim\, wrap around impact resistant eye protection\, pants with pockets\, comfortable shoes or boots\, etc.  A dump pouch and shooting gloves are recommended. There is no need for knee pads as all shooting is done from standing. There is no need to cover\, it is illegal to carry concealed anywhere in the State of Nevada if you do not possess a CCW honored by Nevada\, including private property. \nWe also recommend sunscreen\, electrolyte drinks (we will have water).  We will have a short lunch break so bring a sack lunch. \nAmmunition Requirements: 9mm\, .357 SIG\, .40 S&W\, 10mm\, .45 ACP\, .38 Special\, .357 mag\, .380. Estimated round count 600-650 rounds. Bring 1000 rounds and you’ll go home with some\, or we will store it for you until the next class if you are from out of town. \nFYI: Foul language will not be tolerated.

SUMMARY:2-Day Advanced Handgun
DESCRIPTION:There is a prerequisite for this class. You must have achieved Graduate or higher from our 2-Day Defensive Handgun class or from Front Sight’s 4-Day Handgun Class. \nDay 1: the class will start promptly at 9:00AM on Saturday\, May 1st 2027 at the Bell Vista shooting area in Pahrump. We will stop at approximately 4:00PM for a BBQ provided by Blackstone Gun Safety then will resume until after dark. The finish time is unknown at this time \nDay 2: will begin at 9:00AM and go until approximately 4:00PM. Other companies teaching a similar class are charging $1\,000 – $1\,300 per student. Your cost for this class is only $290 per person. \nThe following information will tell you what to expect at the class and what you will need to bring. \nPlease bring your government issued photo ID\, IE: Driver’s License. \nDrills include but not limited to: Loading and Unloading; Grip\, Stance\, Sight Picture\, Sight Alignment\, Trigger Control and Trigger Reset; Presentation from the low ready\, Sul\, temple index\, and/or the Holster; You will be shooting one handed from your strong hand and your support hand. Handling malfunctions with one hand. Reloading with one hand and shooting from cover\, behind barrels. You’ll be shooting from close contact to 50 yards\, from kneeling and prone if you are able. \nFirearm\, Equipment and Ammo Requirements: \nHolsters must be on the belt\, OWB\, correctly fitted to the weapon\, completely covering the trigger guard and remain open when the weapon is removed\, not allowing the weapon to cover the shooter’s body. You must be able to remove your weapon from your holster using one hand\, not two hands. Cross-draw\, shoulder holsters or ankle holsters are not allowed. It would be a good idea to bring a backup gun and holster\, in case yours fails. Your sights cannot be plastic on your gun. These drills will break plastic sights. \nA minimum of three magazines and two single or one double magazine pouch worn on the belt on the side opposite the handgun are required. Speed loader holders for revolvers can be worn on your belt in the front. AR Pistols are not allowed. If you are shooting a single stack or a low-capacity semi-auto\, you will need more magazines. Please do not come with what I call the “Ghetto mag”\, holding 30-50 rounds. Bring the mags that you would carry on the street. IE: standard out of the box magazines. You are training for a bad encounter on the street. You will need a flashlight mounted to your gun or a handheld flashlight operated by a rear button NOT to exceed 500 lumens. The weapon mounted flashlight must fit into your holster. \nElectronic hearing protection is mandatory. You need to be able to hear the range master and instructors with your hearing protection on. \nA sturdy belt\, hat with brim\, IE: baseball hat\, wrap-around impact resistant eye protection\, pants with pockets (cargo pants)\, comfortable shoes or boots\, etc.\, no flip-flops.  Don’t wear a low-cut shirt or blouse because hot brass will be flying around. A dump pouch and shooting gloves are recommended. Knee pads are recommended. You are not required to shoot using a cover garment.  \nWe also recommend sunscreen\, electrolyte drinks\, we will have water.  Bring a sack lunch for a short lunch break. \nAmmunition Requirements: 9mm\, .357 SIG\, .40 S&W\, 10mm\, .45 ACP\, .38 Special\, .357 mag\, .380. Estimated round count 600 rounds.
